Most ergonomic companies utilize an “old school” approach that rely on outdated ideas and trends. Our philosophy addresses the most common ergonomic issues with a fresh, common sense, “new school” approach based upon the following ideals:
Our bodies are not designed to sit still, our bodies require variation of position and motion. We promote the "optimal position" which is the one you are typically in, however we encourage varying position throughout the day.
It’s people that are the most valuable resource to you and your company; ergonomics is an investment and vital piece in that resource. At Ergonomic Evolution, we collaborate with you and your employees to change how you think about your bodies and how you work. Literally seeing things through ergonomic glasses. We look to make difference in people’s lives and the companies that they work for.
We know that you have better things to do with your time than be distracted by pounding headaches, numb/tingling fingers or an aching back. We know that through ergonomics your work life and the work lives of your employees can be enhanced.
We strive to educate and empower you and your employees on how to stop unnecessary injuries from occurring in your office and industrial environments. Ultimately, this will benefit both the employee and the employer.
We go beyond good service to provide you with professional, educated opinions and solutions for your workplace. We understand the concept that ergonomics promotes more than any other, "respect for people". without respect there can be no professionalism.
Fitting technology to people, as opposed to fitting people to technology. The goal is to find the correct fit.
When looking at this workstation setup, most would consider it a good ergonomic setup. We at Ergonomic Evolution would also agree that it is "good" setup, but not great. Our "New School" approach would say that this is a good starting point. "Old School" ergonomics would say that this is the perfect setup. Work environments vastly vary and so do the people who perform in those work environments. It is common knowledge that the more we move (i.e. exercise), the healthier our bodies become. When we emphasize positional variance while working our body's react positively to the natural movement that it requires. Just like when we change our position while sleeping, our bodies still require variation while working.
