Ergonomic workstation evaluations help employers recognize problems with a layout or design or piece of equipment that may be contributing to an employee's musculoskeletal stress, postural strain, and repetive stress injuries, whether they're working in the office, in a lab or manufacturing facility, or at home. In many cases, employees have a physical condition that place them in a high-risk category. Adaptive measures, changes in the employee's work methods, or simple adjustments to existing equipment can help to alleviate pain and discomfort.

Is it expensive?
Our rates are incredibly competitive. Our experience is unmatched. Some of our clients require a workstation evaluation when an employee is hired, as a proactive and preventive measure. There are studies upon studies that detail how beneficial a properly setup workstation is and how highly perceived an evaluation is that helps to attract and retain employees.
As for the cost of furniture and equipment, we prefer to make adjustments to what's already in place as a cost and energy savings measure. We can provide ergonomic equipment as needed, or provide specs for equipment if you already have a vendor you work with. We will also suggest other resources if we cannot provide the best solution.

NEW! Remote Ergonomic Evaluations
As the work environment changes and more employees are working remotely, Ergonomic Evolution can provide thorough assessments of your desk, workstation and equipment, remotely! You provide the required information and we will send back a written report, just like we do for in-person assessments.
The process is as follows:
A remote ergonomic evaluation takes no more than an hour of your time, and is a great way to ensure that you and your equipment are positioned in the healthiest way possible. It's not tht different from an in-person assessment, and the result is the same: Reducing any aches and pains you are having!

Level One - Quick and Basic
An overview of a single work station or site, with basic suggestions and modifications. This option would be good for an end user with only minor issues or needs, such as a chair adjustment, keyboard tray modification, or re-arrangement of equipment for improved efficiency.
Level Two - Standard Evaluation
A one-hour in-depth analysis of a workstation or site that includes a written report with observations and suggestions. This service is our most popular and is ideal for documenting and tracking worksite improvements. It also allows employers to follow up with their employees to ensure recommendations are being followed, and in some cases, to determine the need for a re-evaluation.
Level Three - Corporate Contract Evaluations
Includes all of the Level Two - Standard Evaluation services for companies looking to implement an ergonomic program. This option is best for mid- to large-size companies looking to evaluate numerous employees or commit to a long-term areement. Ergonomic Evolution would serve as an in-house ergonomic consultant and would likely team with your Human Resources or Facilities Department to develop standard processes and procedures. These programs are highly customized and we would work together to develop a program that meets your needs.
