An Office Ergonomic Assessment is done one-on-one with an employee either virtually or in-person to ensure they are setup according to ergonomic guidelines at their computer workstation. During the assessment, the employee is educated on the principles of office ergonomics and factors such as workspace design, equipment, and layout are evaluated to determine whether the existing set-up supports good posture and aligns with ergonomic standards or where change is required.
Ergonomic assessments are an important early intervention step when an office employee reports discomfort. Whether used as part of a successful return to work/stay at work program, or as a proactive initiative, the assessment helps improve set-up and increase comfort for workers.

As the work environment changes and more employees are working remotely, Ergonomic Evolution can provide thorough assessments of your desk, workstation, and equipment, remotely! You provide the required information and we will send back a written report, just like we do for in-person assessments.
The process is as follows:
A remote ergonomic evaluation takes no more than an hour of your time and is a great way to ensure that you and your equipment are positioned in the healthiest way possible. It's not that different from an in-person assessment, and the result is the same: Reducing any aches and pains you are having!

We offer 3 levels of Onsite evaluations. Choose the one that best fits your needs. Please contact us with any questions and a price quote.
Level One - Quick and Basic
An overview of a single workstation or site, with basic suggestions and modifications. This option would be good for an end-user with only minor issues or needs, such as a chair adjustment, keyboard tray modification, or re-arrangement of equipment for improved efficiency.
Level Two - Standard Evaluation
A one-hour in-depth analysis of a workstation or site that includes a written report with observations and suggestions. This service is our most popular and is ideal for documenting and tracking worksite improvements. It also allows employers to follow up with their employees to ensure recommendations are being followed, and in some cases, determine the need for a re-evaluation.
Level Three - Corporate Contract Evaluations
Includes all of the Level Two - Standard Evaluation services for companies looking to implement an ergonomic program. This option is best for mid to large-size companies looking to evaluate numerous employees or commit to a long-term agreement. Ergonomic Evolution would serve as an in-house ergonomic consultant and would likely team with your Human Resources or Facilities Department to develop standard processes and procedures. These programs are highly customized, and we would work together to develop a program that meets your needs.
